• Banna Beach..........a wonderful 6 kilometer stretch of strand and only 250 meters from Sir Roger's. This blue flag beach is safe for surfing, walking, picnicing and swimming and with lifeguards on duty during the main season. During July and August water activity equipment is available for hire. ( Canoes, Surf boards, Wet suits etc. )

• Banna Beach Hotel.....a modern hotel with public entertainment most nights.

• Golf.........a 9 hole golf course in nearby Ardfert village and a superb coastal 18 hole course at Barrow beach some 20 minutes drive from Sir Roger's.

• Tralee Town........the county capital offers modern shopping stores, cinemas, theatre, and the Aquadome...a indoor swimming and leisure complex. Visit the Blennerville Windmill by steamtrain !! Enquire locally for on-going events during your stay.

• Dingle Peninsula.....Don't leave Kerry without driving the Dingle Ring....easily a day trip and especially if you take a boat trip to see Fungi.....the Dingle dolphin !!.

• Killarney Town...... a very popular destination for tourists because of all the nearby natural amenities....Killarney National Park, Muckross House and Farm, Torc Waterfall, Ross Castle and Ireland's highest mountain, Corrántouhill, at 1034 meters.

• Ring of Kerry......if you "do the ring" you will be presented with some of Ireland's most specacular scenery embracing mountains, lakes, beaches and atlantic coastal villages and towns.
